  • 1 cup almond flour
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup hazelnut meal (blanched)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp stevia (or to taste) Stevia amounts vary by brand.
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened Make sure it's softened for proper mixing.
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup hazelnut butter (smooth)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, cocoa powder, hazelnut meal, vanilla, stevia, sea salt, softened butter, heavy whipping cream, and hazelnut butter.
  3. Mix until the mixture is fully smooth and thick like a dense batter.
  4. Scrape the mixture onto the parchment-lined baking sheet and spread it into an even layer.
  5. Bake for 10–15 minutes until the surface looks set and matte, but not browned.
  6. Let it cool completely on the pan before using.

Notes

Store in a sealed container in the refrigerator. It firms up when cold. Allow it to sit at room temperature for easier spreading.
