For the banana chips
  • 2 pieces ripe bananas Make sure they are ripe for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon Adds warmth and flavor.
  • 1 tablespoon sugar Optional, adjust to taste.
  • 1 spray cooking spray or a small amount of oil To prevent sticking and aid browning.

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Peel the bananas and slice them into thin rounds, about 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick.
  2. In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar until evenly combined.
  3. Coat the air fryer basket lightly with cooking spray or a small amount of oil.
Cooking
  1. Arrange the banana rounds in a single layer in the basket without overlapping.
  2. Sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly over the banana slices.
  3. Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 10–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  4. Check for golden edges and a firm, dry surface before removing.
  5. Transfer chips to a wire rack and let cool completely.

Notes

Ensure uniform thickness for best results. These are delicious as a healthy snack or topping for yogurt or oatmeal.
