Ingredients

Base ingredients
  • 2 cups Yogurt (plain or flavored) Use a yogurt of your choice, adjust sweetness as needed.
  • 2 Tbsp Honey Optional for sweetness.
  • 1 tsp Vanilla extract Optional for flavor.
Mix-ins
  • 1 cup Fresh fruit (such as berries) Cut into bite-size pieces.
  • 1/2 cup Granola Optional for crunch.
  • 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips Optional for sweetness.

Method

Preparation
  1. Line a baking sheet or flat tray with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, stir the yogurt until smooth. If using, mix in honey and vanilla until combined.
  3. Fold in the fresh fruit and any mix-ins gently to avoid breaking them down too much.
  4. Spoon small mounds of the mixture onto the lined tray, ensuring they are similar-sized for even freezing.
Freezing
  1. Place the tray flat in the freezer and freeze until the bites are completely firm.
  2. Once frozen, transfer the bites to a freezer-safe container or bag. Keep them frozen for future snacking.

Notes

Avoid adding very wet mix-ins and ensure to line the tray with parchment paper to prevent sticking. These bites are best eaten frozen but soften quickly at room temperature.
