  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
Chocolate Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup chopped chocolate pieces For melty pockets.
  • 1 cup optional chocolate chips Add for extra indulgence.

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the vanilla-flavored yogurt, sweetener, and milk until smooth and glossy.
  3. In another bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped chocolate pieces and optional chocolate chips.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top. Bake for about 25 minutes, checking at 22 minutes.
  2. A toothpick inserted near the center should come out with a few moist crumbs but not wet batter.
Cooling and Serving
  1. Let cool on a wire rack for at least 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For consistent cutting, chill the brownies for 30 minutes before slicing. Store in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature, or up to 5 days in the fridge. For longer storage, freeze wrapped brownies for up to 2 months.
