  • 1/4 cup water or milk As per box instructions.
  • 1/2 cup melted butter As per box instructions.
  • 1 cup shredded coconut Use unsweetened for less sugar.
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce For topping and drizzling.
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips Add more for extra chocolatey flavor.
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts Optional; can use pecans or walnuts.
  • 1/4 cup additional caramel For drizzling on top.

Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven according to the instructions on the brownie mix box and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix with melted butter and either water or milk, stirring until smooth.
  3. Fold in the shredded coconut, chocolate chips, and chopped nuts until evenly distributed.
  4. Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
Baking
  1. Bake according to box instructions, typically about 20-25 minutes. Check for doneness with a toothpick.
  2. Once baked, cool for 10 minutes before drizzling with remaining caramel sauce.
  3. Cut into squares and serve warm or at room temperature.

Notes

For best results, use fully melted butter for smooth batter. Consider toasting shredded coconut for extra flavor. Ensure not to overbake to keep brownies soft in the center.
