Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare an 8x8-inch baking dish by greasing it lightly or lining it with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, almond or all-purpose flour, sugar substitute, baking powder, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the Greek yogurt, applesauce, eggs, and vanilla extract until well blended.
  4. Slowly add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, stirring until just combined. Do not over-mix.
Baking
  1. Pour the batter into your prepared baking dish, spreading it evenly.
  2. Bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the edges start to pull away and a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  3. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 10 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

These brownies can be enjoyed on their own or served warm with Greek yogurt on top. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
